We’re excited to announce the upcoming release of our new ngrok Global Network domains for free and paid users. This is a big step forward in our mission to make complex infrastructure simple and improve speeds when accessing your applications through ngrok.
Today traffic you send through ngrok.io subdomains routes to the region you selected during creation or us by default. With these new domains traffic you send will automatically route to the nearest available region on the ngrok Global Network, providing you with faster speeds and a smoother experience.
The following domains will be rolling out to paid users on March 14th, 2023:
Free domains to be made available at a later date:
During this rollout existing users will still have access to the current “ngrok.io” domain which will be migrated over to serving traffic through the ngrok Global Network at a later date.
