Test richer prompts in the AI Gateway Playground

Compare how models respond to your images, code, and text in the AI Gateway Playground. Select a file, paste it, or drag it into the message box to add it to your prompt.

Read reasoning as it streams from models that return it, expand tool calls, and view tables and formatted equations in responses. If one model fails, select Retry for that response without rerunning the others. Response details show timings measured in your browser. Select View in logs to inspect the request.

Attach PNG, JPEG, WebP, or UTF-8 text and code files. For images, choose a model that accepts image input. PDFs aren’t supported. The Playground keeps your drafts and attachments in your browser for the account you’re using.

Get started

  1. Open the Playground and select an access key and model.
  2. Attach a file, enter your prompt, and use Add model to compare responses.
  3. Send the message, then inspect each response or retry a failed model individually.
